Nine Colorado breweries took home medals at the third
World Beer Cup International Competition.

Medals in 70 traditional and emerging beer-style
categories were awarded in ceremonies in New York
City on Monday night.  Competitors included beers from
Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Fiji, Germany, Japan,
Trinidad, and the United States.

The World Beer Cup is held every two years, the first in
Vail four years ago and the second in Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil.  This year's competition was held in Milwaukee.
